14. Staying well and healthy while traveling : 5 non negotiable principles.

As we are approaching Christmas season and travel season, in this episode Gosia talks about how having 5 basic principals and being always aligned with your valuing your health so you can have more life in life, is keeping her healthy and well throughout this Christmas season of travelling but also while travelling anytime. 

The main value being your health and wellbeing. 

The 5 nonnegotiable principles are:

1 Looking after your nervous system - finding pockets of peace and quiet on the go plus noise cancelling headphones 

2  Really hydrating  - always drinking water. ALWAYS, no alcohol , no caffeine , no sugar.

3 Getting enough sleep - planning is essential here. Time zone differences , or demanding schedule . I create space and donโ€™ t do short trips (like 48 hours ) because I need the few hours to recharge after arrival and the the whole trip is gone. 

4 Eating really well to support your gut health - your gut is the absolute foundation of your health. There is no excuses to compromise gut health when you are travelling and frankly the only way to stay well while travelling. 

5 Sports : move your body - pack your work out outfit or simply work out in your pjs, keep track of your step count even if you miss some of the fun - it is totally worth it because there is more fun coming your way if you are well during your travels.
